When assessing someone’s posture, it is possible to determine the length-tension relationship between muscles. This means that you can see which muscles are overactive and which muscles are underactive.
 
You might be exercising the wrong muscles if you don’t know which ones to strengthen and which to relax. The correct postural position can feel natural without much effort at all! And it is the same with the correct running form.
 
The key is knowing how your body should move when it’s functioning correctly instead of having improper form due to either overworking certain groups of muscle(s) while leaving others intact or lack thereof during training sessions resulting in an imbalance throughout one’s entire musculoskeletal system.
 
And imbalances always lead to injuries.
